Through affordable Monthly Contributions made by all Members, Joppa Health Share facilitates the sharing of Members’ eligible medical expenses. Members are joined together by their faith in the ethical, moral and biblical beliefs and their desire to share in each other’s eligible medical expenses.
With multiple programs to choose from, our Members select the program that best suits their needs and budgets! Memberships also include access to Joppa RX , Telemedicine and more!
Genesis Programs
The Genesis Programs are Defined Sharing Programs designed to provide affordable protection for Members seeking an alternative to health insurance.
Genesis Basic Program provides sharing for Day-to-Day Care and Preventive Services, designed for Individuals and Families who are prepared for the Catastrophic Events, but searching for Day-to-Day Health Care needs such as PCP, Specialists, Urgent Care Visits, Telemedicine services for injury and illness.
The Genesis Preferred, Premium and Platinum Programs expands the Day-to-Day Care and Preventive Services sharing to include pre-determined sharing amounts for Inpatient Hospitalization Room and Board, Hospital Admission 1st Day, Inpatient Surgical Services, Ambulance, ER, Outpatient Surgery and Maternity.
Ambassador Programs
The Ambassador Programs offer a wide variety of Sharing Programs designed to provide affordable alternatives to health insurance that fit a wide range of health care budgets.
Ambassador Plus and Advantage Programs offer varying Program levels, and provides sharing for Day-to-Day Care including Primary Care, Specialist or Urgent Care Facility Visits and Preventive Services as well as sharing for Inpatient Hospital and Surgery Services, Outpatient Surgery, Outpatient Services, Maternity and more.
The Ambassador Core Program is designed for individuals and families who are prepared for every day, routine medical expenses but wish to be prepared for Catastrophic events.
Joppa Health Share Members have access to the First Health® Network. Providers participating in the First Health® Network have negotiated discounts that can reduce your medical costs and may result in significantsavings for our Members. To locate a First Health® Network Provider or Facility visit https://providerlocator.firsthealth.com/fhhspn Using an Out-of-Network Provider or Facility is always an option for all Members.
